Claude Létourneau

Claude Létourneau, Director of Pageau Morel’s Québec City office, has announced his retirement after a career spanning 44 years. He will remain in the company for a few more months to ensure a smooth transition.

Claude began his career in 1981 after obtaining a DEC in mechanical building systems technology from Cégep Limoilou and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Université Laval. He joined Therméca in 2012, a firm that later merged with Pageau Morel in 2018. He became an associate in 2013 and has held the role of Director since 2015.

Claude Létourneau played a key role in the construction of numerous housing projects (Édifice Carillon, Complexe Bourlamaque, Habitations Val-Martin, Résidence Lac-Saint-Charles, Édifice multifonctionnel des roses, etc.) and sports centres (Saint-Apollinaire Multipurpose Centre, Centre sportif de Lac-Mégantic, etc.). He also contributed to several office fit-ups for the Société québécoise des infrastructures, iA Financial Group, Beneva, La Capitale immobilière MFQ, and many others.

Claude also left his mark on the education sector, contributing to the renovation of several elementary schools in the Québec City region, as well as carrying out many projects for Cégep Limoilou and Cégep de Sainte-Foy.
The entire Pageau Morel team would like to thank Claude for his years of dedication to the firm. There is no doubt that, throughout his 44-year career, he played a major role in elevating the consulting engineering profession!

 

Alexandre Dufresne

Alexandre Dufresne appointed Director of the Québec City office

Pageau Morel is pleased to announce the appointment of Alexandre Dufresne as Director of its Québec City office. He takes over from Claude Létourneau, who will soon be taking a well-deserved retirement. Alexandre will be supported by his longtime colleagues Stéphanie Boudreau and Martin Brindamour, who complete the management team as Assistant Directors.

Alexandre Dufresne holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Université Laval. He began his consulting engineering career in 2008. Over the years, he has held the roles of Project Manager, Associate, and Assistant Director at Pageau Morel. In addition to his in-depth knowledge of building mechanical and electrical systems, he has also developed strong expertise in commissioning.

We are confident that Alexandre is the ideal person to take on this leadership role. His proven management skills and technical expertise will ensure continued success for the Québec City office.
