On May 30, at the Soir\u00e9e de l’excellence en g\u00e9nie of the Ordre des ing\u00e9nieurs du Qu\u00e9bec (OIQ), Roland Charneux, Director at Pageau Morel, won the 2018 Grand Prix d’excellence, the highest distinction awarded by the OIQ to one of its members. This prestigious prize is bestowed upon a Qu\u00e9bec engineer in recognition of his or her visionary qualities, innovative achievements, and social commitment.<\/p>\n
Renowned engineer, Roland Charneux has always strongly focused on designing energy-efficient buildings. He is, without a doubt, an outstanding figure by virtue of his humility, righteousness, professionalism and passion for engineering. Throughout his career, he has left a significant legacy by mentoring and training a generation of young engineers. As a testament to his skills and the high quality of his projects, Roland Charneux has received more than 25\u00a0awards for projects he has worked on, including nine Technology Awards from the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (international awards).<\/p>\n
