Project description

Construction of a world-class casino offering a wide range of games inside a spectacular environment of fountains and palm trees. With a total area of 42,000 m² and 22,000 m² of building, the casino spans 4 floors divided as such: first floor – service area, training, reception and shipping, counting; second floor – gaming area with 1,250 slot machines and 35 tables; third floor – restaurant area, banquet hall, administrative offices, gardens (trees, fountains); fourth floor – security and information sector. The parking lot can accommodate over 2,000 vehicles.

Challenges and Solutions

  • Project realized in consortium for mechanical and electrical engineering.
  • Construction work divides in many phases and conducted over many months, in construction and project management.
  • Centralized control and lighting system allowing the control of architectural lighting as well as stage setting for the hall and related areas.
  • Access control system (entry and exit) to make circulation in many areas of the building safer for the employees.
  • High acoustic treatment of ventilation and control systems.
  • Sixty-metre majestic fountain with light effects at the centre of the old quarry.
